The mother of a 16-year-old Missouri boy told police that a couple sexually assaulted her son during what was described as a foursome. The 34-year-old man was charged with statutory sodomy, and the 26-year-old woman faces charges of statutory rape and statutory sodomy. Charges are still pending against the other woman who was involved, who is not yet 21 years old.
The incident in question occurred late in August or early in September. The teen and the underage woman were visiting the couple. During that visit, the couple allegedly encouraged them to engage in the foursome. Allegedly, the boy did not want to participate, and was then forced to do so.
Supposedly, the man held him down while the woman sodomized him by performing oral sex on him. He claims that he then engaged in oral sex with the man and vaginal intercourse with the woman against his will. Supposedly, the couple’s four children were in the home at the time of the incident and could have witnessed at least part of it.
One of the children claimed to have seen the rape, but the woman claims the 6-year-old girl was actually recalling a separate incident, which was a threesome. Police claim that the man and woman both eventually admitted to the foursome. However, the man denies any contact with the teen.
Charges of statutory rape and statutory sodomy can each carry serious penalties. A thorough review of the alleged evidence in this case will need to be conducted by each party’s criminal defense team. If one or both of them were not afforded counsel at the time of their alleged confessions, those statements may not be admissible as evidence in court. Furthermore, they will each have the right to confront the witnesses against them in court, along with any evidence Missouri prosecutors intend to present to the court.
