The incident happened one afternoon on a day in early February. Reports indicate that two men stopped at a restaurant while they waited on the repair of a work truck. Witnesses claim that one of the men — a now-deceased 43-year-old — became involved in an argument with another restaurant patron, believed to be the gunman. They say that the argument was over the size of a dog.
However, some claim that the argument was not really heated and that the two even exchanged phone numbers afterward. However, the alleged gunman is said to have called the deceased man an expletive, prompting the latter to confront the former. Witnesses say that the next thing they knew, four shots were fired. The man died at the scene.
While it is unclear if the suspected gunman has been arrested and charged, it is likely that Missouri police and other authorities wish to question him over the alleged murder.
