MISSOURI WOMAN ACCUSED OF MURDER IN BOYFRIEND’S DEATH

The unexpected death of a loved one is always a difficult situation. Being suspected of playing a role in that person’s death creates additional stress following a traumatic event. Unfortunately, a Missouri woman is believed to have been involved in her boyfriend’s accidental death, leading to her arrest after being accused of murder.

The incident that led to to the 37-year-old woman’s death reportedly happened on a day in March. The woman reports that she and her boyfriend were watching a movie at the home they shared together. The man reportedly suggested that they reenact a scene from a movie they were watching together, allegedly prompting the woman to get a handgun.

Unfortunately, reports indicate that the gun fired, resulting in the accidental shooting of the boyfriend in the head. The woman is said to have immediately called 911, but he died as a result of his injuries. Police claim that the woman reported drinking whiskey and taking prescription medicines, some of which are known to enhance the effects of alcohol, prior to the incident. Police report that they recovered the alcohol, drugs and weapon at the home.

As a result of the incident, the Missouri woman was taken into custody, accused of unlawful use of a weapon and second degree murder. Now, in addition to coping with the death of her boyfriend, she also faces an uncertain legal situation.
