Authorities claim that a circuit judge issued a search warrant for a particular Missouri residence on a recent Monday evening. Agents allegedly serving the warrant entered the residence and afterward placed a man under arrest. There are several charges against him, including possession of drugs.

The drug task force agents claim that the 53-year-old man was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The officers stated that they found the drugs, as well as a variety of supplies believed to be used to smoke marijuana, in the man’s kitchen. They also say that there was a controlled substance found in the man’s bedroom and other alleged drug items in the basement. Authorities even listed a dry erase board as an item of suspicion.

Reportedly, a second search warrant was issued the following day regarding a nearby mechanics shop the man owns. He now faces at least three felony charges and is being held in a county jail on a $25,000 cash bond. As with all criminal charges, the man is presumed innocent unless proved guilty by a judge or jury.

Any Missouri resident facing possession of drugs charges or similar legal challenges may request consultation with an experienced criminal defense attorney before proceeding to court. As a personal legal advocate, an attorney can challenge the charges against a defendant. Based on prior experience in the courtroom, an attorney would also be able to help determine all options that might be available toward a successful defense strategy and a positive outcome in court.
