Working in fast food is often a difficult job. Workers often put in long hours and face a great deal of criticism from supervisors and employees. Unfortunately, a fast food worker in Missouri is now accused of assault following an alleged incident involving a manager at the establishment.
The incident happened just after noon on a day in October. Police say they were called to the scene after a 30-year-old man allegedly stabbed a manager multiple times. Reports claim that the suspect left the location prior to the arrival of police officers.
A search of the area reportedly led to the discovery of the man who was said to have been hiding in weeds. He was arrested and charged with armed criminal action and first-degree assault. His bail was set at $250,000; if he is able to raise the funds for his release from custody, a judge has ordered him to stay away from the alleged victim upon released. The injured manager was transported to the hospital but was released after receiving treatment.
Many details of the incident are unclear, including why police believe the man allegedly stabbed the victim.
