Anyone who has driven in rush hour traffic likely knows the frustration of it. However, most people accept that there is little that they can do and so wait relatively patiently. Unfortunately, police have recently accused a Missouri woman of murder due to an incident that allegedly resulted because she was annoyed with traffic.
The incident happened on a day in November. The 46-year-old woman now facing criminal charges allegedly told police that she was upset because she was stuck in traffic when she needed to get to the bank to make a payment. She reportedly claims that she began “nudging” the vehicle in front of her but ultimately decided to “hit it full out.”
The 57-year-old driver reportedly exited her vehicle to inspect the damage. However, the younger woman claims that she decided to “trick” her by acting nice. The woman is now accused of slamming into the older woman, resulting in her death. The former is said to have dragged the latter for over 50 feet before she became involved in another collision. Other drivers are said to have boxed her in, preventing her from leaving until police arrived.
The Missouri woman has since pleaded not guilty to charges of armed criminal action and first-degree murder. If convicted, she could face significant consequences.
