If an individual has been charged with a crime, he or she likely wants to move forward in the best way possible. In many cases, information on creating a criminal defense may help parties who have been charged for alleged rape or other serious allegations. Moving forward with a defense still leaves parties with certain options to consider.

One man in Missouri may be looking into his options after he was taken into custody. It was reported that the man had contacted a real estate agency in order to be shown an apartment. Authorities state that once the man and the real estate agent were inside the apartment, the man allegedly attacked and raped the agent. The man’s age was reported as being 24 years old, and the age of the reported victim was not given.

The man apparently left the apartment after the purported incident, and he was later apprehended at a nearby location. The man reportedly did not resist arrest and was taken into custody without issue. He is currently being held in jail, and it was reported that his bond was set at $1 million.

Rape charges are very serious allegations, and an individual who has had such charges leveled against him likely wants to combat such accusations. In order to do so, the man may want to explore criminal defense techniques in order to determine what actions may be suited for his circumstances. He may also find information on Missouri criminal proceedings relating to his case beneficial as the situation moves forward.
